The Greypevine: Season 2, Episode 5

They're back with another episode! My Grey's class does Episode V of their really great Podcast!

In this episode:

  • Any Way You Want It- Dan and Bryan bring you another YUMMY cookie segment with David C. as their guest. His recipe is so EASY, and we can tell you from experience, they sure are tasty cookies. Look how easy this is...mix 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 egg. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle on some sugar, and don't forget to make that nifty criss-cross pattern with a fork. Also, Jamie reports in on his awesome collection of baseballs.
  • Daredevil's Corner- Have you ever rocked out on the air guitar? How about on the air keyboard...computer keyboard that is. Tori and Charlie give it a try while singing a very interesting song about the home row. We dare you to get the song out of your head once you listen.
  • Did You Know- Geckos. That's all we really need to say about this Did You Know. Just listen to what Vicky and Katie R. have to go through trying to give you some interesting facts.
Our Perspective- Have you ever tried selling something on eBay? Erica and Sarah Grace bring us a story about someone who takes eBay to a whole other level. Read the story by clicking here.
  • Email and Blog- McCall and David N. have one of our most prolific emailers in to chat about our show. They also give a desperate plea for more of your emails!
  • Top 5- Bill and Vanessa are put to the test when Tyler stops by to see if they can come up with a top 5 (well, top 10 really) list of things to do with a common household item. Check out their uncommon answers.
  • Riddlers- Ryan and Jamie keep us rolling with some pretty outstanding jokes. They also pose a riddle made up from one of our classmates. See if you can come up with the answer and email us your response.

We hope you enjoy this episode, and remember to drop us an email or leave a comment on our blog to let us know what you would like to hear in the next episode!

News From the Greypevine

Welcome to Kid-Cast.com's first airing of The Greypevine! The Greypevine is a fifth grade class from Illinois, and they're working hard to create regularly delivered podcasts that will inform and entertain anyone who would like to listen. They'd love to hear any questions or comments you have that might help them to produce a better 'cast. This podcast is fun and entertaining, as well as very well produced! Kid-Cast.com loved the Daredevil Corner as well as all of other very informative and hysterical sections from this very talented bunch!

This is The Greypevine's longest episode yet, and their first on the Kid-Cast Network. We, and they, think that's a GOOD thing!

In this EXCITING episode:
  • Did You Know - Buckle up, because this is by far the greatest number of amazing facts we've ever done in one segment. They come at you fast, but they are incredibly interesting!

  • Check It Out - Another guest appearance, and a surprising/shocking ending that will have everyone talking.

  • Updates - All kinds of special guests on this one along with all kinds of great updates. We also share a new idea that we'll need your help with, so make sure you pay close attention!

  • Any Way You Want It - A NEW segment! We're excited about this one, and yes, your #1 request is finally fulfilled right from the start.

  • Email and Blog- We've been getting some AWESOME feedback lately. We talk about some of our emails and blog comments, and of course, watch out for those flying rodents!

  • Daredevil's Corner - Another NEW segment! This one is just flat out amazing. We promise you won't be disappointed, and you might just find yourself feeling a bit patriotic when it's all said and done. Thanks to Mrs. Dowdy's class for the excellent dare.

Our new segments rely on your feedback, so give us your ideas either on our blog or in an email! Enjoy the show! Check out The Greypevine blog for even more stuff!
