The Kid-Safe Internet

As should be completely obvious to those who visit this site, we are committed to the safety, security, and fun of young children. So, it comes as no surprise that I post a link to one of the greatest sites (I've found) on a Kid-safe internet: SafeKids.com.

On their site, they cover all kinds of helpful things for parents. For example, they've got tips on safety on the information highway, guidelines, and what the risks are to online activity with kids. I find these types of sites to be an asset to our society. As much as I think there should be freedom for opinions, I do believe that children - with young clever minds - need to be carefully guided and not thrown into the mix of information geared towards the more worldly. Parents and kids should access the internet together and enjoy the time viewing blogs and sites, and listening to Podcasts.

There's plenty of great content, let's make sure it's safe and fun for our kids, too!

If YOU have a Podcast that talks about this kind of thing, contact us so we can add it to our site!
